SISTER MOON

Available now from Amber Quill Press

When a strange man seeks out Walker Ince at midnight to acquire his services as a private investigator, Walker wants to send him on his way. But the stranger makes him an unexpected promise. If Walker will find Emma Hurst and take from her a talisman the man claims is his, he will use it to cure Walker's dying daughter of cancer. Private investigators normally didn't take things from their subjects but the desperation of a father has him hoping for the chance to save his child.

Emma Hurst is a woman on the run. Since she became the talisman's guardian she's been hunted by a never-ending string of mercenaries and thugs sent by a dangerous and powerful enemy. Only her wits and the fact that she's a werewolf have protected her until now. But her nemesis is trying a new tactic. Too late Emma realizes that the sexy man she has fallen for is the latest her enemy has sent for the talisman. Can she convince Walker Ince of the terrible truth about his client in time to save him and his daughter? And if so, can he accept her for what she really is?

Reviews:

"Isabella Jordan has written a short, but very powerful story about a desperate man and an equally desperate woman. Ms Jordan writes great characters that are extremely well rounded and realistic. Walker is a man plagued by the tragedy of his sick daughter, and Emma is a woman with a grave secret who is trying desperately to guard the Talisman. Their relationship sizzles from their first meeting and escalates to a hot, passionate, emotional romance. Ms Jordan writes very hot love scenes that just might melt your monitor, so beware! The plot is exciting and will keep the reader glued to her seat. This reviewer found this short story quite thrilling and it was a joy to read. This reviewer is sure that this story will captivate every lover of erotic, werewolf romances." - 4 Hearts, Valerie. Love Romances

"This is a great book that takes you on an emotional roller coaster. Emma is a kick ass heroine intent on doing what's right while keeping those she loves safe. Walker is very understanding and trying to cope in a wild situation. The sex is hot and the plot action packed, it's not very long so it can be read in one sitting. I recommend this book for lovers of paranormal and especially werewolves." - 4 Hearts, Angel Brewer, The Romance Studio

"Sister Moon is a heartfelt story about a man and his desperation to save his precious daughter. The character of Walker Ince quickly enters your heart and you feel his pain, and his longing for love. Emm, a hunted woman with plenty of secrets, never loses her kindness or ability to love and help those in need...it packs a punch with plenty of romance and excitement that will leave you longing for more." - Katherine Turcotte, 4 Stars, Romantic Times BOOKClub

Excerpt:

Damn him! He made it impossible to have any normal conversation. No matter what she said, he came back with something personal, something to set her nerves on edge.

The waitress arrived with his iced tea and her bowl of soup. Walker returned the menu to her and ordered a club sandwich without completely taking his attention from Emma.

"You have a way of keeping me completely off balance," Emma said, half teasing, half serious as the waitress walked away. "Do you know that? You show up at my bar and you look at me like you are now and… Why are you looking at me like that? What do you want?"

"I just got here," Walker pointed out, laughing.

Emma laughed with him. Because of nerves? Because she wanted to jump his bones?

Walker's laughter faded. "I can't take my eyes off you. But if I told you what I wanted, you just might kill yourself on those shoes trying to get out of here."

Fear mixed with excitement, pushed her desire to an exquisite level. Her thighs squeezed together, pressing into the damp cotton of her panties, and her heart raced.

"That depends on what you want." She tried to sound flippant but didn't quite make it. "Do you want me or do you want something from me?"

His lower lip twitched as his eyes searched hers.

"Honestly, both."

It was difficult to breathe. What did he mean both? What did he want from her?

He wanted her.

And she definitely wanted him.

"You make me feel so much that I'd forgotten," he said in a low voice. His hand slid across the table to capture one of hers. Her hand looked tiny in his. The firm stroke of his thumb back and forth across her palm created pleasurable waves that traveled throughout her body. "I want know how it feels to hold you, how you taste. I want to lose myself inside you."
