"Scar's Conquest was a terrific book. The crew members are all women and they have mated with the male creatures. The paranormal aspects of this story are intriguing, but I would have liked to know more about the women in general. Camilla and Scar are each the leaders of their groups and these qualities give them a need to run things as well as get to know each other. The males and women have paired off, except for one triad and they all get to know each other in the best way possible, through sex. Each pair has amazing and graphic sex. "SCAR'S CONQUEST is a great mix of science fiction, paranormal and romance – all mixed together with some scorching sex scenes. Camilla is used to being in charge, and being captured by an over amorous, alpha werewolf is not something she ever dreamed would turn her on – however it does, in particular, Scar knows just which buttons to push to make Camilla go over the top. Scar is an intense character, and while at times it was hard to get a grasp on his personality beyond his complete alpha role, his early care of Camilla in the story lets readers know there is more than testosterone flowing in his veins. Secondary characters are lightly sketched and the focus of the story remains on Camilla and Scar. There is a twist at the end that takes SCAR'S CONQUEST from a pleasant erotic story to a story that feels like the beginning of something unique. I'd love to read more about this world and find out more about how the men/beasts on the planet came to be there. Isabella Jordan delivers up another delicious read.
